Before anything else, the honest question: do you actually need an app? Plenty of businesses need a fast mobile website instead, and it costs far less. We tell you which one fits before you spend a euro.
When an app is worth it
An app earns its cost when people open it again and again. The usual signs:
Repeat use. Bookings, orders, loyalty points, or a tool your staff open every day.
Working offline. Technicians on site, drivers on the road, places with a weak signal.
The phone itself. Camera, location, push notifications or scanning, which a website cannot do as well.
If people will visit once to read about you and then call, a good mobile website is the better investment, and we will say so.
What we build
Native Android apps with Kotlin. For apps that lean hard on the device: offline data, background work, hardware.
Cross platform apps with Flutter. One codebase for Android and iOS, which usually means a lower cost and one team to maintain it.
A link to what you already run. Your website, eShop, bookings or accounting through an API, so nothing is typed in twice.
An admin panel. A web dashboard where you change content, prices or users without calling us.
Publishing to Google Play and the App Store. Store listings, screenshots and the review process, including the rules Apple is strict about.
Updates after launch. Android and iOS change every year, and an app nobody updates slowly stops working properly.
Apps we have released
These are our own apps and they are in the stores today. Install them and judge the work for yourself before you talk to us:
My Trucks and Servilio are business tools: one keeps a fleet's services and documents in order, the other runs field jobs for technicians. They are the kind of app a Cyprus company builds for its own staff or customers.
How it works
A short call. What the app must do, who will use it, and whether a website would do the job.
A written proposal. Screens, features, timeline and the price, confirmed in writing before work starts.
Building in stages. You get test versions on your own phone as the work progresses, not only at the end.
Release and support. We publish to the stores and stay on for updates and fixes.
What we will not promise
Being in the store does not mean being downloaded. Apps are found through your existing customers, your website and your social media, so we plan from day one how people will hear about it. We also will not build a huge app in one go: a smaller first version that people actually use shows what is worth adding next.
Common questions
How much does an app cost?
It depends on the screens, the features and whether it needs its own server. We give a written price after a short call, and we often suggest starting with a smaller first version.
Flutter or native?
For most business apps Flutter is the sensible choice, because one codebase serves both Android and iOS. We go native when the app relies heavily on the device or needs every bit of performance.
Do you publish it to Google Play and the App Store?
Yes. We prepare the listing, submit the app and answer Apple or Google during review. The developer accounts are best opened in your company name so the app is listed under you. Apple charges a yearly fee for that account and Google a one off fee.
Who owns the app?
Once it is paid in full, the design is yours and you receive a licence to use the code, as our
terms set out.
What happens after launch?
Every year Apple and Google release new versions of their systems and change store rules. We keep the app compatible, fix what comes up and add features when you need them.
